How do I change the list view?

List View

The List View layout is what you will see after selecting to view the contents of a folder.

All content has to have a title and this is what you will see in the List View Layout - all of the Titles for content published to the folder. In this layout screen, you can choose to show other fields along with the title, such as short descriptions of the items published or any tags associated

Application pages such as this are accessed from the Admin menu and or through the Application Toolbox. For instructions on how to find this area please refer to the Application settings Tutorial which will show the different ways of accessing your Application settings.

You can add new fields to the layout, remove existing fields, add columns, delete columns, add rows, change field properties all from this View. (*Note: If you need a new field added here, by going back to the Build Form and adding a field there it will show in the Item View)

Located above the layout you can also set the primary / secondary / optional sorting for any of the fields

Search Results

The Search Results screen is what the end user will see when they search for content within the application.

When accessing the Search Results Application Page you will notice that the layout is the same as the List View Layout. Because of this when modifying the fields for this layout there will be a button that you can click which will copy the List View layout or you can design it a different way if you like.
