Twitter and Facebook RSS Feeds

Twitter RSS feeds

After a recent Twitter update, some RSS feeds may no longer work. For a workaround, try the following solution:

From your Twitter account, go to Settings -> widgets -> create new -> create widget -> copy the code on this screen.

Then, on your intranet:

Version 12.0 - Go to Admin > Site Design > Edit home widgets > paste this code into a custom code box.

Version 12.5 and up - Go to the widget page where you want to add this widget > click Toolbox > Edit Page > click the icon to insert a new row above/below > select External Content within the Build Tool > choose Custom Code > paste this code into the box provided > click 'Save Widgets' at the bottom of the page.

The script should look similar to this:
<a class="twitter-timeline" href="https://twitter.com/<account name>" data-widget-id="xxxx3171388827xxxx">Tweets by @<account name></a>
<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script>

Please note that the script above is only an example, the code displayed after creating the widget will provide your unique account name and data-widget id.
