Apps

Apps are applications you can add to your sites which act as structured content libraries. Each application is geared towards storing and delivering a specific type of information (eg, documents, policies, forms, calendar events, etc) to the end-users.

Depending on the type of information you are looking to store, the type of application that you create will differ. To create an application, go to admin > Assets > *select the site requiring the application*, click the plus icon next to the Apps button, select an application type/template (eg, Company News), enter an application name (eg, Announcements), and click build.

Managing a Site’s Apps

To view the apps already added to a site, you start from the admin screen.  (Note, if you are already viewing the site you want to administrate, you can select Site Admin from the Toolbox to skip steps 1-3.)

Using the Admin Screen

  1. In the top right of any screen, click the Admin link.
  2. Click the Assets tab.
  3. Click on the site you want to view.
  4. Click on the Apps button.
