Form security has three components, which is how options on this tab are arranged: who can view and submit the form, who can build the form, and who can see the responses to the form. Learn more about forms in the Online Forms Overview article.

Who Can View and Submit This Form
This section advises if Global Permissions are in place for your form so that all staff can view, submit, etc. By default, all users have rights to view the forms and fill them out. Users can also be given rights to edit the forms within that folder, add forms to the folder, or delete the forms within that folder.
If you want to change the permissions by folder, follow the instructions in the Security for Apps article.
There are two other settings in this section:
- User Captcha Prior to Submission - Enabling this setting will result in users being prompted to enter a captcha before submitting. This helps ensure that users submitting the form are legitimate people rather than bots.
- All Submissions will be Anonymous - Making all form submissions anonymous is useful in scenarios such as an organizational feedback form or survey. It's important to note that you can't impose a limit on the number of user submissions when this setting is enabled.
Who Can Build This Form
Form creators can add form builders to their form. When assigned, this right will give a user full control over your form. They'll be able to modify and delete the form as if it's their own. Note that users with this form ownership privilege will be able to view all of the responses for their form.
Ignore global folder level permissions - Enabling this option allows you to limit form administration rights to users with form builder rights and users with the super administrator elevated right. Select individual users or groups from the drop-down menu.

Who Can See the Form Responses
This section allows you to set permissions for submitted form responses. The types of permissions are:
- View Response
- Private Fields (only available when at least 1 private field has been added to the form)
- Edit Response (not available for Tests)
- Delete Response
- View Approval
Each of the rights mentioned above can be assigned to the Submitting Users for form responses they've contributed. Form creators can also configure the rights a Supervisor has over their subordinates' form responses.
Users and Groups can be granted rights to view ALL form responses. By default, users are only able to see their own responses. You can also assign the above permissions by selecting them from the drop-down menus provided. This is helpful when you've added private fields which should only be viewed by designated people.
Users or Groups with private field permissions will only see them once the form response has been submitted. The only users that will see these private fields when filling out a new form response are those with Super Admin, Administrator, or Form Builder rights.
