User Activity Report
The User Activity Report provides detailed tracking of what users are doing across your intranet. This report shows individual user actions including content they've created, edited, viewed, and searched for.
Summary Cards
At the top of the page, four summary cards display total counts based on your selected filters:
- Content Added: Number of new items created
- Content Edited: Number of items modified
- Content Viewed: Total views across all content
- Content Searched: Number of search queries performed
These cards provide a quick snapshot of overall activity levels and update automatically when filters are applied.

The main table shows individual user actions with the following information:
Table Columns:
- User: Name and username of the person who performed the action
- Item: The specific content that was interacted with (clickable link when available)
- Site/App: Where the content is located
- Timestamp: When the action occurred
- Action Type: What the user did (color-coded for easy scanning)
Action Type Colors:
- Created (Green): New content was added
- Edited (Amber): Existing content was modified
- Viewed (Blue): Content was accessed/read
- Searched (Purple): User performed a search
Using Filters
Time Period: Select 7, 30, 60, or 90 days to view different time ranges.
Sites / Apps / Pages: Browse the hierarchical tree to select specific sites, apps, or pages. Selecting a site shows all activity across all apps and pages within it, while selecting an app or page shows only that specific item's activity.
Department: Filter to show activity only from users in selected department(s).
Action Types: Choose to view all actions, or filter by specific types (Viewed, Edited, Created, or Searched).
All filters work together to help you answer specific questions about user activity.
Pagination and Export
By default, 25 items are shown per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate through results. Click Download CSV to export all results matching your current filters (not just the current page) for further analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.
