Setting: Retention Period for Statistics
Description: Controls how long analytics data is kept before being automatically deleted.
Available Options:
- Forever (0 days): Keep all data indefinitely
- 30 days: Keep one month of data
- 60 days: Keep two months of data
- 90 days: Keep three months of data
- 6 months: Keep six months of data
- 1 year: Keep one year of data
- 2 years: Keep two years of data
- 3 years: Keep three years of data
- 5 years: Keep five years of data
Important: When you change to a shorter retention period, older data beyond that period will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.
Recommendations:
- Balance historical data needs with database performance
- Most organizations: 365-730 days (1-2 years) is sufficient
