Error: org.jsoup.Jsoup

Issue

You're seeing the following error in the Application Log for the Intranet:  

Error: cannot load class through its string name, because no definition for the class with the specified name [org.jsoup.Jsoup] could be found

Resolution

There are missing Java libraries from Railo/Lucee. To resolve this:

  1. Download the attached files
    • unzip the files to the desktop, then move just the files to the folder specified.
  2. Extract the files to WEB-INF\Railo\Lib or WEB-INF\Lucee\Lib
    • Your WEB-INF folder is in inetpub\wwwroot\intranet if you do not have /intranet in your URL
    • Your WEB-INF folder is in inetpub\wwwroot if you do have /intranet in your URL
  3. Overwrite any existing files
  4. Restart Railo Server or Lucee service
  5. Open your intranet site, click Admin, click Site Search, click reindex my site data
