The purpose of the Product Health page is to get an idea if your Intranet system suffers from certain conditions that we deem unhealthy. These conditions cause performance degrade so in an effort to bring awareness to Intranet Admins we created a series of reports and tools to assist in making sure your system runs as smoothly as possible.
On Admin Home there is a "mini" version of the report. And you can click "more info" to jump directly to the Product Health page.
The metrics tracked in Product Health consist of:
- Disk Usage
- File Integrity
- Content With Inactive Owners
- Items with low views
- Aging Notifications
- Large Files
- Bloated Forms
The system analyzes your Intranet database once a week and scores each metric to alert Admins if an area needs attention.
In addition to the reports that comprise the Product Health page, we have included tools to assist Admins in cleaning up content.
Review And Clean
The "Review And Clean" feature is a powerful tool for admins to clean out content that is bloating their application. They can use this tool to quickly find the data that is not needed and remove it from the system. This includes items comprising the Product Health reports as well as a "Custom Content Cleanup" tool that lets you quickly view data from almost any application in the system for cleanup.
Cleanup Action Queue
When items are deleted or modified using "Review And Clean" the action of removal does not happen immediately. It goes into a queue we named the "Cleanup Action Queue" and this queue runs overnight so that large cleanup operations do not interfere with system performance during peak business hours.
File Integrity Report
The purpose of the "File Integrity" report is to track the integrity of the program files that comprise the application. We need this so that if any files get tampered with, damaged, or deleted, we can be aware of it via the weekly scans of system files.
When you open the report you will see the status of what files have problems and you can contact support to have us provide a fresh version of the file. Or you can re-install the last patch.
